SSCA have state of the art and highly sophisticated culinary labs, each dedicated to specific learning by the students. All our kitchen labs and the support areas, spread over 12,000 sq ft area, have been designed specifically like professional kitchens, replete with modern and latest equipment for practical learning.


Foundation Kitchen Lab

Well equipped 20 work stations await the first year students at SSCA. The first year in this professional foundation kitchen imparts all the basic French culinary skills and creates a strong foundation of all systems, processes, tools and best practices.

Bulk Kitchen Lab

Team work, coordination and nuances of cooking in large quantities are the key learning’s that students gain during their second year of academics at SSCA. Exploring the vast potential of various cuisines within India, SSCA students experience the diverse range of delicacies while cooking in bulk quantities.

Advanced Kitchen Lab

All final year students of SSCA advance to polish their multi cuisine culinary skills through the creative application of scientific knowledge and experimental techniques. Research and innovation based knowledge ensures that SSCA students are ready to take on all the challenges in the pursuit of becoming a professional chef in the gastronomic world

Bakery Lab

One is drawn towards this unique lab simply by the aromas of fresh breads or cookies being baked. Students learn the scientific importance of time, temperature and raw material quantity proportions while preparing a range of sweet and savory delights that are sure to please everyone’s taste buds.

Patisserie Lab

Students indulge in the art of artisan cake icings, plated desserts, chocolate and pastry preparations in this lab. Our culinary demonstrators and instructors offer intensive training on top quality ingredients and handling advanced equipment’s to SSCA students.

Demo Kitchen Lab

Compact fully equipped demo kitchen with guest seating capacity for 20 guests, is ideally designed to demonstrate culinary dishes for smaller group of people.

Training Restaurant

A 44 seater fine dine training restaurant which is specially designed for educational environment, where students learn the art of fine service and culinary practices. Chef and Food and Beverage faculties support the culinary arts students in ensuring that guests enjoy a contemporary and elegant dining experience.

Larder Lab

Horsd’oeuvres, cold sauces, salads, cold buffet presentations and many more exotic preparations are learnt by students in the larder lab.
